Le Coccole
Le Coccole is an old renovated
farmstead surrounded by vineyards and the lush verdant Monferrato countryside.
Sitting in a splendid spot on top of a hill facing the old hamlet of Fontanile,
Le Coccole is just a few minutes from Mombaruzzo, Acqui Terme, Nizza Monferrato,
Bruno and Canelli, and a short distance from Asti and Alessandria.
The cozy, warm, casual ambiance that offers relaxing moments, smiles and quality
is perfect for getting in touch with oneself far from the traffic, chaos and daily
stress. It is an ideal base for walks or biking, or for visiting the many historical
and cultural attractions in the area.
Our Food
Le
Coccole offers delicious wholesome, healthy cooking that blends the genuine,
distinct flavors of the Piedmont region with the colors and pleasure of the Mediterranean.
Our guests tell us it is among the best food around. On request, our fine catering
service is also available in the area.
Each day Marisa, the cook and host, prepares the most traditional Piedmont dishes
and personal specialties based on secret recipes, as well as focaccias, breadsticks,
bread and cakes that she bakes each morning.
Hospitality
Le Coccole has four independent
double rooms, all with private bath, that were remodeled in summer 2000 
and
offer a relaxing, comfortable, fine holiday in one of Italy's most famous wine-making
and grape-growing areas. From the beginning of April 2002 we also offer a beautiful
and new 60 squared meters apartment, right on the garden.
Its philosophy of hospitality is to combine privacy, comfort and fine foods and
beverages with an opportunity to enjoy the surrounding nature, history and gastronomic
traditions of the area in total freedom.

Time
The area offers a wide range of possible
excursions all year round. Also available are bicycles,
an external mountain
biking service, a TV lounge, garden verandah, and
a spacious lawn between the vineyard and orchard that is perfect for sunbathing
or for letting children romp and play in complete freedom and safety.
